“Mustaqbali always gives me opportunities to try new things. I found myself and discovered that I can do so much and I have many skills and talents. I have a voice good for broadcast, I can sing and participate in festivals and activities. I found my happiness.”, said Mohammed Abu Shamla, 12 years old, from Gaza.
Mohammed recently took part in Mustaqbali’s extra-curricular activities that foster creativity, leadership and citizenship. He is one of hundreds of orphan children in Gaza who had their lives changed after the death of their fathers and then in a positive way after the intervention of Mustaqbali.
Mustaqbali’s program is a holistic 22-year initiative that empowers orphaned children with the skills and opportunities necessary to lead healthy, independent and productive lives.
